State of Decay isn't a good game to go by. it seems to have some inherent bottlenecks in it's performanceYo Master Race friends, need some help.
Copped a couple games for this rig I just built, been noticing there's a lot of fluctuating frame rates, nothing keeps stable, is it because my rig can't handle it? Like State of Decay goes from 60 fps down to 45 and all back up and down on me at high settings. On ultra I hover around 30fps, and this is at 1080p. I have a AMD fx8320, 8gb of ram,& a diamond r9 270x.
Also, I have a Speed fan and have no idea how to use it, anybody care explain this ish to me.
Thanks brehs![]()

speedfan is really good, but there are some motherboards especially asus that don't play nice with speedfan. gigabyte and asrock works well with speedfan
I don't use speedfan, but what fans are making all that noise?Any tips on how to use it? my rig sounds like the first xbox 360 right now, even when it's not doing anything.
Sure is. Do you already have a monitor?brehs is it possible to build a good gaming rig for under 700? any help?

personally I have all my case fans hooked directly to my psu. only the cpu's fan goes through the mobo. I have a pretty aggressive 'fan curve' on my gpu, and it's probably the noisiest thing in there, but only under heavy load (although I think my 780 is actually quieter than my 660)
cooling on air is gonna involve some noise regardless
you have a 5000 rpm case fan?I noticed it's the fan in the back, blowing the air out, it's constantly at over 5000 rpm

your pc is gonna fly away breh.
that's some crazy speeds. could be HW monitor just reading shyt wrongLOL i'm not sure, but when I was using the speed fan, I would tinker around with fan 1, and that was the fan that i'd hear get really loud and start blowing out lots of air
Edit: these are the reads i'm getting

anyway, you only got two fans in there? I assume one is the cpu fan, so only one case fan? if your case has space for more fans, you might want to look into that. you need good air-flow for gaming, plus it should lessen the load on that one fan
