I usually just install it if it's free, then uninstall it right away but you probably don't have to do all that.

just make sure it's in your Steam Library. I guess you can start the D/L and then cancel it to be sure

Not really.
It's a bit more comfortable, but that's it. No real need to buy one unless you were looking to get a new controller anyway

The 360 has better shoulder buttons, triggers and sticks.
The One controller has a better overall size.
Not worth upgrading at all. I was gifted one. I wouldn't buy it.

Eh,with the whole Watch Dogs fiasco my next GPU purchase is going to be at a minimum 3GB. I'm sure in a couple of years I'll be gaming on a 1440p or 4K monitor at the least.

im not sweating watch_dogs per se but yeah my next card (most likely next gen AMD) is gonna be 3gb/4gb min.
All you have to do is add it to your steam library and its yours. Just like PS+ as well. Don't have to actually download/install it.
