I just need to vent. Windows 8.1 is complete and utter trash. It is ruining my new build. I am so pissed. :what:

Windows search filter and host won't stop eating up my CPU, I can't run in 3 monitors without losing performance. Everything is shytty. :mindblown:

This shyt is infuriating!

Yeah, I made a terrible mistake :snoop:

Luckily @2gunsup has got my back. I'm going back to win 7 tonight or tomorrow (depending on how late I wanna stay up) :salute:

Yeah I can turn off that goddamn search indexing muthafukking bullshyt. I'm more concerned about the 800 point drop I get in 3Dmark for no goddamn reason when I move to nvidia surround. shyt's bullshyt!

Any recommendations for a good keyboard around $50 or less?

I do a little PC gaming, but not enough to get something crazy.
Levetron clicker; mechanical keyboard. You can buy it at Microcenter. It's European style, but the cheapest mechanical keyboard you can buy. I think I got mine for around $50 exactly I have one as my second keyboard. It's a little plasticy, but the mechanical nature of it is worth it

3-way SLI 780 vs 2-way SLI 780ti?

People seemed to have mixed feelings on which is better:

Tri-SLI GTX 780 vs Duo-SLI GTX 780Ti? - [H]ard|Forum

I'm curious on your thoughts. They're both about the same price. Which one would perform better?

Unless you are using a multiple monitor setup, and the monitors support a resolution above 1080P, then 3 way SLI is a colossal waste of money...assuming you are buying this for gaming...you won't really be able to "see" the performance gains of a 3 way setup on one monitor...with 3 cards you are beginning to enter the territory of having your cards be able to display more pixels and textures than your monitor actually can...unless you get a 4k monitor...

for computational computing you should go with the 780ti because that is what they were built for...

Also with 3 way SLI, you had better really know what you are doing as far as cooling...you better have a good case, and with 3 cards you probably will actually need to use some liquid coolers...

You don't get your airflow and cooling right then you will not have a 3 way rig very long...the GTX 780's run pretty cool, but under load they will turn your case into an oven...i know plenty of people who burned up there rigs in a few months using 3 way SLI

Yeah, I am doing nvidia surround (3 monitors). I ended up going with 2 OCd 780s. The 780tis were going over budget and I couldn't justify the extra cost based on the minimal performance gains.
