If you had to spend around a 100 on a graphics card what one would you get

With these specs for my system and 450 psu

Intel core i3 processor 4130 - $119.00

Crucial SSD 120 GB $89.99

ASUS H81M-Plus Micro ATX - $69.50

PNY - 8 GB DDR3 1333 MHz - $80.00

microsoft security essentials + malwarebytes + adblock for (insert browser of choice here) + common sense = virus free

But, common sense is real hard when you're "borrowing" music and tv shows without torrents. I suggest the NoScript addon for Firefox as well. You'll never get a virus again, as it disables flash, java, etc. (where most viruses live). I go to the most dangerous sites for my music and tv, according to McAfee, and never get a virus, cuz NoScript stops that shyt ASAP

I honestly would throw in a extra 50 bucks just to be safe. Getting a graphics card for about $100 will net you with something that'll probably only have 1GB VRAM and be 192 bit which will seem outdated very soon if you're trying to play more graphically demanding game coming soon. I'd get maybe a 7790 or GTX 660 at the minimum?? Do you have a Microcenter near you?? they usually have good refurbished video cards there.

I haven't used Noscript in a long time. I haven't had a virus in years though. I laugh when I see people with huge banners on their desktop telling them their computer is about to explode or something shyt :skip:.

every time I talk to my mom, she has some weird shyt going on with her computer :snoop:

I tell her to run malwarebytes, and it always finds something. all she does is facebook and play this online spades game. I tell her it's probably that game, and to find a different one. but she's just "but it's free". obviously it's not 'free' :snoop:

Would she be comfortable on a mac? I mean...if all she is doing is getting on Facebook it wont make much of a difference and save you the headache...

telling her to run malwarebytes isn't much of a headache. she pretty much knows the drill at this point. I just want her to find somewhere else to play spades online. it kinda goes back to the 'common sense' point

She should just get an iPad. My mom and grandma don't even touch a computer anymore. They just do email and facebook
