Do you got a Frys near you? Frys is 90% of the time even $10-20+ cheaper than microcenter let alone newegg. At the very least theyll price match microcenter

Frys is the GOAT of the past 2 years in the bay it aint even close really. Not too sure bout round where u live tho
Dog I don't have any electronic stores around me besides best buy and staples :dead:

I just checked Fry's and their prices are alright, still don't compare with Microcenter tho...they want $235 for an i5 4670K, Microcenter has it for a flat $200

@2gunsup @daze23 @itsyoung!! and whoever else...

Microcenter is killing me with the prices on the i5 and i7 processors...is there ANY online store that has prices like that? Newegg has them marked up anywhere from $40-$60+ on each chip

That in store only BS SUCKS...

MC has raised the price of a few CPU's since Haswell so to me these prices suck :to:. It use to be that you were able to purchase the K models of chips at the following prices,

i5 xxxxK - $170-180
i7 xxxxK - $230

To add to that you'd get $50 off any compatible motherboard. They would do these crazy deals to get you into the store hoping they'd make their money off their other marked up items. People like me however would just go buy CPU's & Motherboards and buy everything elsewhere. Guess they caught on to that, :manny:

Anyway, if you ever need a CPU from there just shoot me a PM.

I offically got it up and running and installed windows but I keep running into problems. I tried to install all the drivers and kept getting blue screen of death so then I had to install them one by one to figure out which drivers was causing it to happen, after i did all that i realized i installed the wrong version of windows so I gotta reinstall windows and try the driver shyt out all over again :sadcam: this is turning into more of a project then I wanted it too, there have been multiple times when i have been on my trip back to the store to grab another part to try to make something work that i would wonder why the fukk i didn't just buy a prebuilt cp. Hopefully wen i get this thing up and running it will be worth it. another issue is i got this thing hooked up to my tv and the text is tiny. Any easy fix for this?

I think if you go into 'fonts' in the control panel, you can adjust the text size. you can also adjust it in your browser settings

This man is a god in the triple-monitoring world. His program is really meant for surround gaming, but you can use it to get rid of the black bars too:

https://www.flawlesswidescreen.org/

(also, it's not listed on his website, but AC:BF is supported:

(I've used his program so much I actually donated money to him. Hayden is a better programmer than most game developers. He'll put triple monitor gaming support in a game in 24 hours, while it takes some developers months...:dead:)

the shyt works, but for some reason it messed with the "tracking" system in-game. all the bodies are shifted to the right and stuff lmao

just got an email for the Steam in-home streaming beta :win:

edit: quick test, and it works. was kind of laggy over wireless, but I also realized after that my craptop was trying to update shyt while I was streaming. I test again later with more optimal conditions

GTX-790 :lupe:

While the GeForce GTX Titan Black Edition will allegedly by powered by the same GPU found in the GTX 780 Ti, it will sport 6GB of GDDR5 RAM. That’s double the amount that’s inside the GTX 780 Ti. Meanwhile, the double-GPU GeForce GTX 790 will include a whopping 10GB of GDDR5 RAM. That’s significantly more than the amount of DDR3 RAM found in most of the world’s modern PCs.

10gb of ram :lupe:
