Hmm, I didn't bother to try and get the 5080 today as I spent the $1000 I was going to use to swap it for to switch back to the RX 7900XT and upgraded my CPU/MOBO and RAM to a Ryzen 5 9600X and 16GB DDR5. I was on the Ryzen 7 3700X and still was on DDR4. To be honest the 7900XT is a great card, I just only have bad performance with ray tracing in Cyberpunk and it's not even worth it in Wukong. Other games I get wonderful performance for the most part.

Apparently Spider-man 2 is a big mess on pc. Nixxes could never do wrong, but this might be the first time. I might just build my pc to try it. The whole spider-man 2 release was weird. You couldn't buy it until release day. Steam users are saying even with a 4090 it crashes non-stop. Hopefully this is not the TLOU2 again. I think they may have rushed the release. But I have no firsthand knowledge. So many good games coming out soon. I need to get back into this shyt. I'm feindin, but I think I'll try Astrobot first on my Pro. Maybe, if this Spiderman 2 release is so terrible, I'll just play it on the Pro too. I only bought the pro for anticipation of GTA 6, but it's looking like that will get delayed. We know it's coming to console first, and of course I need to play that day 1 nonstop. It'll come to PC a year later, where it will be much better most likely, but how can you not play the new GTA day 1?

That's a nice build, but I worry about the cooling. That's a problem with small builds like this. I'd imagine it gets way too hot. Even on my old custom water loop build, shyt had heating issues with the 4090, and I had a full-sized case. My new build I bought a whole year ago has 3 radiators in it with a ton of fans. I bought it for maximum cooling. It's big as fukk though. the smaller builds are much nicer to deal with, but the heating is a problem, even on water. These CPUs and GPUs just get so damn hot. I don't even wanna think about the 5090. I just gotta wait for the waterblocks and we'll see.

5080 isn’t on par with the 4090. I haven’t seen that in any benchmarks so far. It’s within 10 percent of a 4080 S. The 4090 is still beyond that.
4090 is second to only the 5090 right now in the GPU space.
