I’m already eyeballing either an Astral LC or Suprim Liquid 5090. The water cooled cards are more intriguing for me this time around. Plus with how expensive all these cards are anyway, why not.
Nah dawg. You need to enter the custom loop gang. Heatkiller waterblocks :wow:

I need to get a better CPU. My CPU bottlenecking my GPU. I'm getting lots of frame drops in some games. I'm still on a Ryzen 7 3700x with a RX 7900 XTX. Gonna switch to the 5080 hopefully next week.

I'm about to return my 7900xtx and upgrade my PC build. The GPU alone is $999 and it's only a little bit better than the 7900xt. I can return it and use that entire amount to get a new CPU, mobo and ram which I'm still using DDR4 and a Ryzen 7 3700x which is old now.

So essentially I'm upgrading my CPU, RAM and motherboard while going back to the same GPU as I can get the 7900xt for $~700 and return the 7900xtx which was barely better. Now I can then sell my old CPU and RAM and get that and upgrade the GPU next month. Perfect.

Today I got reminded of why I hate BIOS updates. This mofo now won't boot :damn:
I've tried everything: removed the battery, tried clearing the CMOS by shorting the battery pins. Nothing works. The CPU debug light is RED and wont budge :mjcry:

I never update my bios unless it's needed for a new cpu. What brand mobo?
