Fortunately, I already went overboard and put a 1600 watt PSU in my system earlier this year. Would just have to swap over to whatever the new GPU cable requirement is since I believe they’re already moving on from the 12VHPWR debacle.

NVIDIA better be going with the new DisplayPort standard this time around instead of going with 1.4 like they did on the 4090. That was some bs considering the price tag. I’m trying to make the jump to 4k 240hz.

Didn't want to jump to 1440p at first, but now I do, however 2160p monitors are now starting to become affordable didn't make things any better.

Thinking of going with a Lenovo Legion Pro 7i 4090. I might wait until Black Friday, but B&H has a decent price on them ($2900 after taxes). I'd love to build a gaming rig, but with the way I'm set up with work and military, I don't really have as much opportunity to game at home as I do on the road, etc. What do you guys think of that laptop? I wanted something with more bang for the buck (ruled out Razer) and would last me the next 5+ years.

I recently got a 4090 mobile gpu for my Rog Ally, haven’t gotten around to trying it yet (been busy). It’s supposedly the 4080 chip paired down. It preforms somewhere in the middle of a 3080 and 4080 from what I’ve read. I can try it out sometimes this week.
