So with those 40xx prices, Nvidia pushing people to buy 30xx stocks right ? I have a 1660ti and have been wanting to get a better card for a couple of years. I would buy a AMD card but they don't do any raytracing

If next year, shyt's still the same, I'll cope a 3080

I prefer the 3000 series look much better than the 4000 as of today. The amount I spent for the 3090 ti I could’ve gotten atleast a “4080 16gb”. Might as well dive in!

Will buy the Nvidia RTX 4090 in October, when available. I’m gonna custom water cool it with EK shyt once they release the 4090 water block. There’s a cool custom pump/reservoir that is custom made for the Lian Li case I got that makes tubing super easy:

Money is no issue.. rog wants premium price for everything! I was looking for a particular setup!!! Lian li was most definitely on my radar!! Maybe for my 4090 build

Fellas today is monumental!! First test power and it hit!!!! so fukking happy! Still have cable Managemtn tie in, clear video code, move 3090 aio to the front then we done!! This is my first build ever, got inspiration from fukking pc building simulator.

Man the sense of accomplishment of learning a new skill will always make you feel top tier. I may start a 4090 build by the end of the year just to build another one

Almost 2 years ago in December I started the process by buying a new 1000w PSU knowing my next build would require such power..

The damn graphics cards were impossible to fukking get to, I tried hard for multiple months and by February 2021 I was like fukk it …

Fast forward to yesterday and I finally bought 2 more pieces to the puzzle.. A new mobo and Ryzen CPU soon come!

Bout to wait a few more weeks to see if the prices of these 30xx series cards drop and what the 40xx series card prices looking like.

I’m almost to the promise land brehs!

My mobo died right after the pandemic started. My rig was old, like going on 10 years. All I did was update the GPU every 3 years but then it died. I was scared. Not having my desktop is like having a limb removed. I built my new rig, kept the Cooler Master 700W PSU and some mesh air filters that I repurposed for aesthetic and utilitarian means. They also have sentimental value as the rig I took them from where a gift from my family. I also built my wife a rig in our living room around that time. I took my 970 ant put it in her new PC and got myself a 1070.

All of this to say that if I had waited another 2 months to build two new rigs I would have been fukked. The PC component market went all the way off the cliff. I'm so glad I built when I did.
