Don't know how I lost my MX Master 2 for the bedroom but I ended up going out and getting a 3 to replace it. I traded in some old mouse from Microsoft I lost the required dongle for and got a 20% off coupon at Best Buy. They couldn't find the actual coupon on their computer so the manager gave me $20 off it. I'm probably gonna go to a different Best Buy and trade in another old mouse to get a 2nd MX Master 3 for the main room PC.

Why are you getting an unlocked overclocking i5 cpu when that motherboard doesn't support it? Do you plan on overclocking? If so, get a z690 motherboard. Overclocking nowadays aren't worth it due to the amount of voltage and heat it produces.
I used that b660 motherboard for my nieces build and its really good. Imo, keep the motherboard and get an i7 12700f cpu. Its only about $40 more, has more cores and will be an overall better buy.

Spend the extra $ and get a gold rated power supply from evga, corsair or seasonic.
What case are you planning on getting? Get the lian li 011 air mini!

The motherboard is compatible, but b660 motherboards can't overclock unlocked cpus. You said u aren't overclocking your cpu so its pointless getting that i5 12600k. Get the 12700f like i said earlier.Tf are you talkin' about?

Its your choice on the power supply. But the power supply is something you shouldn't cheap out on.
Case is subjective so if you like something go for it. Just make sure your parts are compatible. Is this your first build?

A fresh new build? Yes. My current set up is nothing more than a cosmetic change: new case, mechanic keyboard and mouse. I have an old AM3+ Mobo so I maxed out with a FX-8320E and 16GB of DDR 3. It's lasted me 10 years and it's still running like a champ since I don't game or do multimedia. I also copped a BE QUIET! Dark Rock TF.
Since being bit by the Sim racing bug via my homeboys PS5 gt7, I told myself that now is the perfect time for an upgrade. The best thing about me saving up to go back to Africa is that I inadvertently didn't realize how much money I saved. So instead of keeping out I can go harder in the paint for a new PC build that can last me 10 or 15 years since I am not a PC enthusiast.
Keep in mind that this is only a third of the total materials that I need. I already have a 1080p TV but will soon upgrade to a 4K TV since they're cheap now. I eventually want to get into VR so I will be copying a headset as well. And don't forget the most important part is the cockpit rig itself. I still have to get me a wheel and a direct drive wheel base in addition to the pedals. I might end up spending at least three bands by the time everything is all said and done.
