4080 and 4090 rumored to release mid july

30 series near msrp and in stock on best buy, so it could be true especially if prices continue to drop as stock improves because they want to unload those games before new generation

Why, the 4080 is can near double the performance and is only two months away, and will be 700, prices will fall below msrp for the 30 series

NVIDIA spent 10 billion on parts for the 40 series gpus to stock pile components so there won't be a shortage plus the crypto mining craze is over, scalpers will move on to the next hot item

Because I feel like it’s about to be damn near impossible to get one early on. When it’s easy to get I’ll flip the 3080 for whatever the going rate is and just add the extra for a 4080. If 4080 will be $700( which I doubt) I’ll give the 3080 for 500 and just pay the extra 200 🤷🏿‍♂️

Question. My Steam Deck arrives this week. I no longer really game on my desktop system besides the occasional VR game. So I'm thinking of selling it. Should I part it out or selling it whole?

The 3080 could possibly be at 500 dollars retail when these cards release, because NVIDIA is playing on flooding the market with the 40 series, the crypto mining craze is over, and retailers like best buy have been flooded with returns that's why its so many open box deals, they won't make the mistake again of letting people scalp because they are going to be stuck with a bunch of 30 series cards they will have to sell for cheap if people just wait another two months

The 4060 will have the same performance as the 3090 at a third of the msrp, nobody is going to want a 30 series card at all at this point especially if NVIDIA keeps up the supply

That's a bold statement :patrice:

Now it's not, it's been proven by the specs of the cards, the 4090 is being launched in mid july and is double the performance of the 3090 this has already been established

This is the greatest jump in gpu history in performance why do you think the prices of the 30 series continue to drop and scalpers on stock x and ebay are stuck with cards

There is nothing proven. Just alot of rumors and speculations. The 4080 will be 20-30% faster than the 3080 as usual

The 3080 is 55 percent faster than the 2080, its 20/30 percent faster than the 2080ti

The 3060 is inbetween the 2080 and the 2080 super, the 3090 is barely an improvement over the 3080, that's the difference with next gen

The 4090 is grossly more powerful than the 4080 they made sure to make the difference very significant because people complained about that
and the 4090ti is ridiculous as well as the 4080ti

The 4080 will be 40 percent faster than the 3090, the 3070 20/30 percent, and the 4060 is a 3090

The leaked specs confirmed, just like they did for the 3080, except the 3080 had marginal increase in cuda cores compared to the 2080ti, this time it's a huge difference, and the leap from the 4080 to the 4090 is even more significant

All the leaks for the 3080 from the same source were true, and they happened months before the june released was delayed to september

if you had a 20 series there was no need to buy 30 series GPU, the 30 series appeal was the price because the 20 series was vastly over priced being the first RTX cards, I mean the 2080ti msrp is still 1k, the 2080 was 790, so the 3080 released at a cheaper msrp.
the best deal is was the 3060 which can still do 4k 60fps because of the Vram, the 3080 only has 10 gb of vram, the 4080 will have 16gb, the 3080 will be a 1440p card going forward because next gen hasn't even started yet, the 3080 is great for older games from the ps4 era in 4k not new games it can't even hit 90fps in 4k in Horizon Zero 5 and its a racing game, you have to turn settings down to high
