The fukk I gotta do to get a RTX 3080

:mjcry::mjcry::mjcry::mjcry::mjcry:

I recommend Newegg Shuffle. I've hit on there like 3 or 4 times in the last few months. You may be stuck buying something else with it, but you can sell the extra item, or, just enter the drawings for the card itself, but that may take longer to hit. I got one, flipped it, couldn't get what I wanted for the MB I got with it, so I got a free MB, still made a small profit.

Anyone build their own NAS and willing to share their experience? I'm thinking if building one for the fun of it.

I love mine. A few years ago when the WD USB drives had that great sale, I bought 4, took the drives out, and threw them in a Synology. I backup my desktop and laptop to it, download Blu-Ray rips to watch. Synology has tools so you can access your files from anywhere, even on mobile. For instance, I can access my music collection on it and play it with their music app. There are a ton of utilities you can install and run on one such as , web server, Plex server, coding box. It's really nice. Whenever I get the extra bread, I think I want a newer model. The one I have isn't powerful enough to transcode 4K on the fly. Besides that, it's the shyt. I put 4 8TB drives in it, with RAID protection, so I have just under 21 TB total. I have been completely reckless with the space, and still have 29% free. Wonderful tool for a power user.

Don't bother just wait for the 40 series that comes out in september next year, get you a 3060ti, its the best card for gaming

with the lossless upscaling on steam for 5 bucks, you can upscale any game the 3080 still struggles with 4k 120hz on the demanding games like Horizon Zero Dawn, which gets like an average of 75 fps, the 3060 does 55fps, on the same settings, and it's like 300-400 bucks, you buying over 1000 for a 3080 unless you get the founders edition from best buy for 700

it's not worth the price to be honest

I done already went through like three 3080s, because the price get going up and I brought them from scalpers and still made profit

I got the EVGA 3060 OC from the last best buy drop and sold my 3080ti, it was overpriced, the 3060 can still do 4k native 60fps in a lot of games, but if you lose the lossless upscaling you can set the window to 1080p in fullscreen and it will upscale to 4k so you can be over 120fps

It's so hard to buy one in a store, prices are artificially inflated, so it created a demand for old cards.

Ran Cyberpunk , Bloodstained, and Street Fighter V. They look incredible when hooked up to an external display .

Next is Arkahm Asylum and Arkahm City.
