Next move is 100% gonna be replacing my HDD still hanging on. I only got pics, movies, and music on it, but every time I hear that disk, or it gets hung up for a second when I go to check something on it:scust:imma try to keep holding out until 2 TB is cheaper. I'm reading beginning of next yr could be another drop

yo, get off the hdd wave. that shyt is over.
i have an 860 1tb & 840 50gb evo ssd.
just got an m.2 970 evo plus 1tb drive that i'm using as my boot drive now.
can't get the 4x pci to work for some reason with the m.2 drive...

I think my gpu is dying.
Whats the best card for current graphics at 1080p? I'm looking at the 2070

i would suggest a 1070 if ur just shooting for 1080p.
what are ur other specs?

It’s only holding on because it’s been in the system :russ:I already have a 250 GB boot drive and 1 TB storage that are SSD. Next drive I get will be 2 TB that should set me up for a good decade

What kind of games do you play and what is the refresh rate of your monitor ? From just a pure technical standpoint unless your 1080p monitor is a 100hz or higher then the answer would be the cheapest 2070 you can get...

I got a 2080 ti and a 60hz 4k monitor...it murders every game I play except rdr 2 and it murders that if I do a combo of high and med graphics settings, which at 4k is all you really need. I would like to get a 3000 series card...but from a techncial standpoint there is no point right now since the 2080 ti i have gets the most out of all the games i play except 1...

1080p 144hz monitor
AMD FX 8350
16 GB RAM

I'm not going to be getting a 4k monitor anytime soon. I'm thinking a 1070 might just fit the bill. I want to play Cyberpunk on max settings at 1080p

If you look at recommended settings for cyberpunk 1080p max....you are going to need a 2000 series card

Just got a 2TB 970 EVO NVMe for $250. It's on backorder though for a couple weeks.

Now I just need a monitor.

imo a 4k monitor for pc gaming is not needed unless you gaming on a large screen...even then, 1080p is great.
