I went to school for my A+ about five years ago. Forgot most of the information. Anyway, I want to start building PC's as a hobby in addition to playing basketball. From 1-10, how hard would you rate assembling a PC?

If you have somewhat steady hands, can read, and have any hand eye coordination, a 3. I think I could do it blindfolded.

Thats with the ultra HD texture packs installed

people confuse 4k resolution with 4k textures

You don't need 12gb to play the base game in 4k resolution, only after you install the ultra hd texture pack

games normally have 2k textures, that's why when Final Fantasy XV came out on window you had to download the hi res texture pack which was like 100gigs, and only worked with the 1080ti at the time

Thanks for dropping that knowledge. There is so much room between 10 and 24. I think they should of went 14-15 on the 3080

10 should still be enough it probably just allocates 12gb because you never use as much vram as it says it’s just put aside to draw in when needed

the 3080 and 3090 has gddr6x which is faster than ggdr6 on the amd cards
