4 core CPU's going away, 6/8 core being the new low end, 12/16 core being the new normal, 32core being the new high end,
USB 4.0, next gen SSDs, PCI 5.0, DDR5 Ram and GDDR7 GPU's all coming by early 2022 :whoo:

Biggest jump we've had in the pc space in like 15 years.....Zen 3/Rocket Lake are "end of the road" platforms everything is moving on

I was gonna build a rig but not waiting seems stupid can I ride out w/ Comet Lake until then

Oh damn, I didn't know about all this. I was thinking about going Zen 3, but honestly I don't need to.

Digging the temps on the 3090 so far. FE at around 35c or so watching youtube vids on 1440p.

Also lol when I first bought the 980ti I ended up breaking that last part of the PCI x 16 slot during the install.

Sure enough 7 years later I end up doing the same to this motherboard and this card. :snoop:

1,200 honestly..I dont want to go above that. I will try to get a 3070 so hopefully I dont have to overpay for 3080. I really want the Founders Edition

3080s went in stock on Best Buy website yesterday, I was there immediately and it still sold out before I could buy one

1200 seems to be the agreed upon upsell for these cards right now. Yea they going for 14-1500 on ebay but remember ebay takes 13% of that so not all of that is going to the seller.

The 2 i sold already i sold on facebook marketplace locally and i sold both of them for 1200. One was a Gigabyte and one was a Zotac

If u really cant wait but still dont want to pay ebay prices check out the "hardware swap" reddit. Alot of people are selling their 3080s for around 1200 there/


But yea i wouldn't do anything until we see how the 3070/big navi launches are looking. Honestly if the 3070 are indeed in stock i'll cop a 3070 for myself and rock out until the 4000 series hits next year.

I just need something before Cyberpunk.

Also to the brehs buying off best buy. A 3080 kept failing in the cart when signed in as a guest. When i logged into my BB account the 3090 went through. Might have just been luck
