:comeon: and these the prices before miners hike them up :comeon:
nvidia :comeon:

NOPE cryptomining is dead for new cards
Nobody is buying these cards for mining, you'll have to wait 2 years for ROI

If I can go out and if I look hard enough and buy 5 1070 for 250 each or let's say 3 low end 1080 ti for 420-450 each. Why would I bother with a new card for 1200. There's no way these cards will have 3x the performance for miners to justify it.

I'm on the look out for a strix 2080 ti and a asus 2070 (pre ordered one for my brother birthday). Let me know if you guys find any

I thought it was common knowledge not to run these cards designed for 4k and 2k with high refresh rates on anything less than that or it tends to cause a cpu bottleneck...but i guess i was wrong...

Don't see in the article where the person actually listed the cpu he was using...
I get that but why release a 4K 144hz monitor if these cards will not be able to do that - these cards look like they will target 4K/60hz monitors with better quality in image. Or at least that is what we are going seeing from the information provided. :mindblown: We are being forced to pay early adopter fees. How will this workout when AMD is creating the gpu's for both playstation and microsoft consoles for raytracing.

If 2080 ti can't hit 90-100hz in 4K, I can guarantee we'll have to wait 2 gens for proper cards.

I hope they are serious about improving SLI

https://www.bestbuy.com/site/computer-cards-components/video-graphics-cards/abcat0507002.c?id=abcat0507002&sp=-currentprice skuidsaas

Above is a link for bestbuy graphic cards for anyone looking for AIB cards

I just ordered 2080 ti's msi cards, if I find strix cards I'll cancel this order

smh they are pretending it is on sale, fukk it :manny:

Also

They (nvidia) are saying 2080 is 50% better than the 2080
Nvidia says the RTX 2080 is up to 50 percent faster than the 1080 in regular games

Yeah we'll see, this only shows 4K gaming. I still think this is smoke and mirrors. At least we have time to determine to keep these cards or not.

People aren't buying 2080, which I'm noticing :ohhh:

Cig some people are selling Titan XP for like 700-800 on hws

The more that I think about it, 1000 dollars isn't too bad for the price. The issue here is the 1080 Ti was cheaper than it should of been for how ahead of it's time it was.
If AMD is losing money on a (original price) 500/600 dollar Rx vega 56/64, and the original price for the 1080 was 600. The 1080 Ti should of been a 750-800 dollar card.

Can't wait to see machine learning/overall comparison between 2080 ti and Titan V - you can pick up a Titan V used for under 2K now.

Because people are dumb enough to buy that monitor...

SLI is pretty much dead...causes more problems that what it is worth...I got sli 1080 ti's and i don't think i have 10 games that ever put any type of load on my second card...or games like cities skylines that perform like trash in sli...
