:stopitslime::francis: Wow, that comment that didn't even attack you in any way really got you triggered huh? You went rooting through my post history to make what point?

Didn't have to look when I can pull up your warnings then I realized why you're in the red :lolbron:

Once again, your point? This site is full of emotional dummies who neg anything they can't understand or agree with. But they're quick to rep posters who succumb to one-dimensional group think. I also have 2K posts and 6K daps. A dap is worth a point. A neg is -10. Do the math.

Get out your feelings. I wasn't attacking you.

This is the problem when a company has such a grip on a segment of the market. Those prices are ridiculous for these graphics cards and we are slowly getting to the point in where building a PC doesn't even make sense for the average joe anymore.

SMH it's a never ending cycle. Hopefully AMD can strike back with something decent at an affordable price like they did with their processors because nvidia is out of their damn minds.

$1200 for one GPU, which is likely going to go up once the demand for mining increases or all 3 consoles (high end models) and the ability to pick exclusives not available to you on the PC?

The prices are out of control. I understand I am in nvidia fanboy territory and there is a premium for PC hardware, but this is ridiculous. Nvidia is flexing because they saw what has been happening with miners. They only "care" about gamers to a point to put on a public image, but that's where it ends.

You are right but False 99% of gamers aren't using anything better than a 1080/60hz/rx 580 or 1080/144hz

It's just a shame of higher end users are being punished by Intel and Nvidia constantly

There's no current demand for these cards for mining beside the 2070. People aren't buying used 2080 ti at these price unless the miner is willing to sell less than msrp

Honestly I don't even care on the bleeding edge because there is always a premium for that. It's the entire pricing structure that is the problem. What is the 2050 Ti going to be? $250? :comeon:

Any low profile 4k video cards?

I have a small form factor Dell optiplex 390 that I use as a HTPC and would like to make it 4k capable.

I don't think those cards will be listed under RTX, so the 2060/2050 ti will be a 50-100 dollar increase

The 1070 was 380 new, 1080 was 550 new, and 1080 ti was 650
The 2070 is 500 new, 2080 is 700 new, 2080 ti new is 1100. 2070 is the sweet spot, wow.

If it's just to watch video content go with the GT 1030. Do it before nvidia decides that those cards should retail at $200.
