Intel gpu will be targeting machine learning, AI, big data, datacenters etc. I don't see the making a proper gaming gpu compared to nvidia anytime soon.

Ended up getting the i7 8700k instead, bought it for a crazy price.

One guy came and bought 3 Asus monitors and 1 Acer monitor. Asked him why he needed all of them, he said I like my monitors the same and one was for his wife. He'll need 4 Titan XP to attempt to play anything :picard:

I thought I was doing well for myself buying 1 Asus, 2 Acer freesync monitors today

Will leave my review once I play on it

i7 8700k will be used with rx vega cards CF for 34 3440x1440, too lazy to rebuild watercool with i7 7700k/ poseidon 1080ti sli :yeshrug:

Can anyone direct me in a good gaming monitor sub 250$ gonna buy it after I look at the ones you suggest today.
@MMA Mo @Ciggavelli @LÍQUIDO

Honestly your best bet is to find a used monitor especially if you have a 1070 or 1070ti I recall.
Either use this sub reddit and find this exact monitor - reddit.com: search results - S2417DG+

Or brand new - https://www.bestbuy.com/site/dell-2...D=1&siteID=8BacdVP0GFs-ywjwrAWLhPaye9867B7zSg

Or use ebay to find something similar. But if you only want new, I'd say buy the cheapest 1080 144hz freesync monitor you can buy and use adaptive sync

General prices for monitor are for anyone looking to buy a monitor are - Remember Freesync - AMD GPU, Gsync - Nvidia GPU
1080/144hz Freesync - 200 - 260/300
1080/144-180hz Gsync - 300 - 350
1440/144hz - Freesync 300-500 generally (add 30-50 dollars for 32 inch)
1440/144hz - Gsync - 350-700 generally (add 30-50 dollars for 32 inch)
3440/100hz - Freesync - 500-800
3440/100hz/120hz Gsync - 800-1100
2160/60hz Freesync - 270-600 dollars
2160/60hz Gsync - 550-900 (add 100 for 32 inch (only 1 Acer)
2160/144hz Gsync - 2000

----------------
I've been selling some PC parts to get rid of inventory and some mining operations that are not useful anymore (1060 3gb), the cost of shipping has skyrocket for a regular consumer :gucci: I've sent 6 GPU right now at a total of 160 in shipping

Sub $250 is tough.

I think @MMA Mo is right, a used monitor is the way to go. Monitors lose value so quickly, so you should be able to find a 1440p/144hz around that price. With your setup, 4K doesn't make sense, and 60hz are boring nowadays. I did a little searching on Amazon, and there isn't much out there that is good, new, at $250.

In general, I like Acer and Asus IPS monitors the best. I used to be all into Dell monitors, but their budget models use TN panels, which I hate. I actually still have a Dell Ultrawide 1440p and a Dell 5K that I can't seem to sell. I'd offer to sell you one of those monitors, but to be honest, you want 144hz and those monitors are 60hz.

I think you'll probably end up with a 24" g-sync. I don't like to go that small, myself, but if you're used to it, then it wouldn't be a problem.
