16gb should be enough for gamingHow much RAM you guys having in your gaming PCs? I currently have 16GB. I would add an additional 8GB or 16GB but DDR4 RAM is a bit expensive right now.

it's only on 1 coreI have 32gb. I've noticed many builds that are jumping to 32gb. Now, do you need 32gb? Probably not.
If you aren't doing anything workstation related 32gb is overkillHow much RAM you guys having in your gaming PCs? I currently have 16GB. I would add an additional 8GB or 16GB but DDR4 RAM is a bit expensive right now.
What SSD are you rocking? If you have a small drive like a 120gb, I suggest you get the 1070 ti, use the rest to buy a 250 ssd for more gaming but if you have a 250/500gb ssd get the 10801070ti or 1080 which should I cop? Difference is $74
Got a gift card from Best Buy for a warranty. What SSD are you rocking? If you have a small drive like a 120gb, I suggest you get the 1070 ti, use the rest to buy a 250 ssd for more gaming but if you have a 250/500gb ssd get the 1080
If it's closer to 400, get the 1070 ti, if it's closer to 500 get the 1080 (will have better resale value)

16GB is fine.
Do you have an SSD?
Yeah I have an SSD just for the OS. I was going to get one specifically for gaming but I'm unsure. If a 2tb SSD was cheap I would buy it.

1080 then, easily.now that I am looking at the prices what monitor do you have? I would buy the 1070 from bestbuy being the only card at true right value. The cost should be 1070 is 399, 1070 ti is 449, and 1080 should be 499Got a gift card from Best Buy for a warranty.
1070ti is gonna be $407, 1080 is gonna be $481. I'm good on SSDs with a 500gb and 250gb in my rig.

You should be using a 1440p/165hz G sync monitor or 3440/100hz monitor.

I'd personally buy the 1080, but you won't notice the difference much with a 1070 if don't have your fps counter on. And with a good amount gift card let's say 75 dollars, you'll practically won't lose much on owning your 1070 for the next 2ish years I'll say.

I'd say get the 1080 but jeez man at 549, I'd wait a little while and just buy a 1080 ti for 699 or lower at that point from evga or somewhere. Or use your current bestbuy gift card (if it's at least 70 dollars, buy the 1070 now and then get a proper discounted card later on while you sell your 1070 for the same that you bought it or similar price. But if you don't like all that hassle get a 1080, you should really get a g sync monitor, look in your local craigslist or reddit hardwareswap for like 200 dollars less than new in your area1070 is better than my current 970 but I'm looking for a bigger jump that'll hold me down for 3 years like it did. If I was still at 1080p I'd just keep it for awhile longer. I bought a Korean 1440p monitor a few years ago and have it overclocked to 120hz. I'm rocking with that for now until a go with an Asus Gsync in a few months.
Gift card's like $130. I was just peeping the little sale evga had on the 1070ti and 1080 and was wondering if the price difference would matter. 1080ti is overkill for me, I'm not touching 4K anytime soon. Props though breh, advice helped. I'll decide tomorrow before the sale probably ends.I'd say get the 1080 but jeez man at 549, I'd wait a little while and just buy a 1080 ti for 699 or lower at that point from evga or somewhere.
