1440p/144hz monitor came out in 2014/2015 (for gsync monitors) years ago, that's how long we have had to wait for something again

completely agree but if I could clearly see freesync 4K 144hz monitors coming out I would just wait. But AMD gpu are terrible, and they will not be competing in the high end market. I'm probably not going to update my gpu this next round (or just buy 1 1180ti/Titan Xp(pp

Found a PowerBook G4 1.67 high res at a steal so that’s my next refurbishing project. Have to sand down the exterior, paint. Install PATA to M.2 SATA for 120GB WD Green SSD. PATA to SATA optical caddy for 1TB WD Blue. add usb 3.0 via express card slot, upgrade ram and then finally install lubuntu, recent software packages and theme to make look like High Sierra.
