forget not all businesses need cards for AI
Yeah, but they should. AI is the future. Companies with a long term vision, not a myopic one, understand this. shyt 5 years ago at my old job, we tested wearables nonstop (this was before the trend caught on). We got in the 3D printing wave too. AI is the future. Understand it now, or face the consequences.

If I started my own company, on some UX shyt, I'd put Titan V's in all of my machines

Breh, architecture and industrial firms do not need Volta or enterprise cards. The 10 series cards carry enough horse power

Yeah, that's true, but from my experience, having the best tech leads to favorable circumstances. shyt, when I worked for the Navy, on some contractor shyt, we had the best tech possible, because we were trying to create a "text reading and understanding" technology. We were on the edge of innovation. shyt, I worked with DARPA too. The better the tech you have, the easier it is to succeed.

If I started a company, which I've been thinking about, my employees are gonna have the best tech possible. It, simply, is, the way to innovate. :manny:

a business shouldn't have to buy a gaming card. although there might be situations where that might be the most cost effective solution. a lot of the software, like SolidWorks (CAD), only really works well with a quadro or firepro card

there's lesser 'professional' cards besides the top of the line kepler/quadro/firepro joints. I know the Quadro K1200 is a popular CAD card, and it's like $300

maybe you weren't following the thread...

homie said pc gaming was like the nfl.. he said "what if every single black player kneeled"

THAT IS WHY i replied with "if they all kneeled, white people would be mad, and SOME would stop watching (nice how you left all of that out)..... but not enough people to destroy the NFL"

same with pc gaming.. WE bytch and moan and cry about the cards... SOME will stop buying them... but not enough to destroy/change/make the two companies start doing something.. cause the masses ain't going nowhere in pc or nfl

I just feel the comparison trivializes the significance of the kneeling during the anthem. It’s kind of disrespectful IMHO.

what yall think about the

Dell S2716DG 27-Inch Screen LCD 14700510

3nQsfjf.jpg

  • 27-Inch LED-backlit LCD monitor with NVIDIA G-SYNC, Glossy with Low-Haze Antiglare hard-coating 3H
  • QHD 2560 x 1440 at 144 Hz
  • Contrast Ratio 1000:1, Aspect Ration Widescreen, 16:9
  • Response Time: 1 ms
  • HDMI, DisplayPort, USB 3.0 hub

I will invest in a monitor for the time being and maybe some 2.1 speakers in the mean time until GPU market gets better.

Monitor comes first and then everything else falls under.
