what yall think about the

Dell S2716DG 27-Inch Screen LCD 14700510

3nQsfjf.jpg

  • 27-Inch LED-backlit LCD monitor with NVIDIA G-SYNC, Glossy with Low-Haze Antiglare hard-coating 3H
  • QHD 2560 x 1440 at 144 Hz
  • Contrast Ratio 1000:1, Aspect Ration Widescreen, 16:9
  • Response Time: 1 ms
  • HDMI, DisplayPort, USB 3.0 hub

I will invest in a monitor for the time being and maybe some 2.1 speakers in the mean time until GPU market gets better.

Monitor comes first and then everything else falls under.

I feel ya. I'm a big fan of great computer monitors. But..., 4K, 144hz, HDR, IPS monitors will be here in months. To be future proof, wait and get the 4K version.

HDR IPS monitors are really poppin? i have been told to get G SYNC monitors only especially i am planning to go the 1080 Ti route. So far, this is the best deal i can do for a 4 k monitor at the moment. I can wait just like i can wait for a 1080 ti. volta gpu seems very expensive and probably an overkill when it gets dropped with their line of series.

i have no other option unless i wait or find a better deal somewhere else like Amazon. I am interested in a 4K 1 MS Response time HDR high refresh rate of 120 HZ or more and i believe it should be G Sync. I am still trying to understand why IPS or Free Sync is better than G Sync but since i am planning to get a Nvdida card, then i will stick with G Sync

also, what is better than a TN panel?

lol
it's either IPS or TN panel

i guess IPS is newer tech ?
TN panel has a faster response rate usually 1-3ms and 'bad' viewing angles if you're at a distance. IPS panels, on the on other, has better colors but comes at a slower response rate usually 5ms.

And to answer your previous post there are no 4K 144Hz HDR monitors currently available but expect them to run $2000 when they are available later this year.

If you get a AMD card grab a free sync monitor. If you get a Nvidia card get a G-Sync monitor.
