that will be good enough for playback. rendering will mostly cpu intensive. ddr4 ram prices are crazy. 32gb is good but 64gb is the sweet spot. but id wait to get more ram when it gets cheaper

I appreciate it homey.

dont get me wrong tho. the latest graphics card can really help with rendering especially nvidia cuda cores. if i were u, id get that setup first, then get a gtx 1080 ti when it gets real cheap once the volta gpus come out.

You're a 1440p/144hz boy now. :birdman:
I actually haven’t yet. In my excitement at seeing 144fps, I forgot that the 4K HDR 144hz are coming on very soon (@Fatboi1 thanks for reminding me). So I’m pushing for that. Nvidia better release a new Titan soon though, cuz 2 Titan Xs (pascal) are not anywhere near close to hitting 4K, ultra, 144fps. They aren’t even seeing 100, to be honest :manny:

Why are you still getting suckered into Ultra settings?

and the Titans? a Ti version always drops thats cheaper on par or better then the titan.....:snoop:
Yeah, but the ti version came out months ands months after the Titan. I wanted to get the "ti" performance as soon as possible, by getting a Titan instead. I want the new tech now :manny:

Yeah man, shyt, that's like the first thing I worry about. :russ:

I've always thought that playing the games with "ultra" settings, was the best possible way to play (i.e. the way the devs envisioned it). I gotta adjust that way of thinking and remember that sometimes 1440p/144fps can be better. :ehh:

seriously.. I just realized this. My card I paid less than $400 for is going for $1400 :damn:

Nah, nah, nah, those are the asking prices, they're not the selling price. If Pawn Stars has taught me one thing, its that asking and actually paying are two different things, In reality is, nobody would buy a 1070 for $1400.
