you got all the Nvidia HD Audio drivers installed?
Yea they're installed since my audio coming from HDMI to the receiver works fine.

Edit: Weird. It works now. I don't remember doing anything different. I think the last thing I did was reinstall realtek audio drivers and I think a reboot fixed it. It shows up now in the playback devices list.

Me too, i already have a 1070(zotac amp extreme) and want to upgrade to the following setup:

Ryzen R7 1700
GigaByte GA-AX370-Gaming 5 or K7
Corsair CMR16GX4M2C3466C16

I can't wait to put my hands on the new features :sadcam:

I changed my mind and bought the following parts:

Ryzen R7 1700
Asrock X370 Taichi
GSkill Flare X F4-3200C14D-16GFX

The upgrade path is sealed

You just need another stick of 8 GB of DDR4 RAM. Buy the same brand and the same frequency.
So same thing just double it.

does it have two 4 gb sticks, or one 8?

either way you want to get the exact same ram

If It does have two 4gb sticks can I buy two 8gb of exactly the same brand and frequency?

Or should I check if the mobo can run 16gb first? Also how can I check lol. Sorry for all these questions

If it has two sticks of 4GB, just buy a two sticks of a better brand of 8GB 2400Hz RAM.

well you don't need to get rid of the two 4gb sticks you have. you could get two more 4gb sticks and have 16 (assuming you have four memory slots)
