Only had my PC for a year and thinking about upgrading the cpu, cpu cooler, gpu, power supply, and monitor. Almost like building a whole new computer, but I'm trying to talk myself out of getting a GTX 1080 TI and a 1440P 165 HZ Gsync IPS monitor(godly upgrade)

PC gaming is a sick addiction you just keep wanting more and more bells and whistles.

Don't want to cop another pascal card only to find out Volta is the truth and cheaper....decisions

Bad thing is I used to be a low-end laptop gamer. Couldn't even get 1080p on anything. Now I get 1080p everything 60+ FPS on a 144hz G-sync monitor and I'm still not satisfied.

Completely honest, it was ambien that caused me to pull the trigger. You do things you normally wouldn't do while on ambien

I woke up this morning and was like, "Why the fukk did I buy that last night?"

Drugs....too much of them will cause you to do stupid shyt.

My current PC is fukking up serious. I will be upgrading within the next few weeks. However, I've come to believe that the Alienware route may not be the best one. I want that fukking 7900X 10-core very badly. It will be mine soon.

the cheapest way to get 44lanes is with the 7900X 10-core. With these new nvidia cards, you need to go 16x16 Gen3 in order to go sli with no compromises.

I was trying to convince myself that I only needed one card, but it actuality, I need 2 still to play games at 5K, all ultra, 60fps

If I do somehow convince myself to just get 1 card, i'll just get the 6-core 8700k. Right now, I just feel that I'd be missing out if I only can use 1 card in my system. I don't like to be constrained. I like to have future options

I should've read up on that shyt more

Keys felt like complete mush. I went back to my membrane keyboard immediately.

Apparently I need some shyt that's tactile? What do the Coli brehs use because apparently there's level to this Cherry MX shyt

For the record, it was a Corsair Strafe RGB with MX Silent switches which apparently are based off Cherry MX Red switches. Won't make that mistake again

What monitor you bought

Samsung 24 inch curved monitor. It's perfect for my needs. As time goes on and I invest in a different video card, I'll look at a larger monitor

Unless mine was a dud, it's just not for me. I can understand why some people like it. But I need some type of "click" when I'm typing, for the lack of a better word. After reading more reviews, it seems like other people can't really deal with them neither.

Yeah the actuation point on reds are pretty much non-existant

shyt if you don't care about the noise get blues.
