My computer is all fukked up :mjcry:

I'm gonna buy a prebuilt. I'm gonna go with Alienware because I have a discount with them. :manny:

I'll post the specs in a bit. I'm kinda torn. I think I might get the 10-core chip :sadcam:

Now to part out my current rig, or sell it as is. Maybe somebody can take it on as a project :jbhmm:
You might as well get a Compaq computer installed with Windows XP.

SLI in 2017

I've actually reconsidered SLI. I'm still on the fence. I'm gonna give it a few days and see if it's really worth the hassle. Dell will have to wait. :manny:

Maybe I’m coming to my senses :russ:

what are you going to do with your titan x 's ?
sell 'em to the highest bidder.

If you're interested, I could give you a little coli discount. Just let me know.

I'm gonna think over what I'm going to buy from Dell (and part of me is still considering just building again. I just want that fukking i9 7900x so badly though.)

I will make a decision late this month or early next month, I got 3 options:
1. get the 10-core and two 1080Tis (~5.5k)
2. get the 8700K and only get one 1080Tis (and I'll get the Alienware Aurora for that) (~3,5K)
3. sell my shyt out and then build again. (~3.5 K)

#2 seems to be the "safe" decision
#1 is extreme and has all that I would really want in a pc
#3 would incorporate my working parts with new ones to get the X299 10-core i9

I can’t keep myself to not think about the possibility of SLI in the future. So I think I’m gonna skip 1080ti sli, and just use my existing 2 Titan X pascals.

And I can get my i9 7900X 10-core from Dell. That’s only 2 companies that I’d have to return parts too.

It seems like the best option. We’ll see how I feel about that tomorrow. But I think this is a good compromise. I’ll get all I want and for like 1500 less

It’ll still be around $4K, but that’s a lot less than the $5.5k I was gonna spend before. I’ll take that win and purchase one of those mixed realty headsets Microsoft is pushing

I am building a rig with 3 of these cause...well...why the fukk not...

SAMSUNG 850 EVO 2.5" 4 TB SATA III 3D NAND Internal Solid State Drive (SSD) MZ-75E4T0B/AM - Newegg.com

so thats 4500...on hard drives :mjlol:

This is the last pc rig I am ever going to build so price isn't going to be an option...i'm gunning for 10k but it's actually pretty hard without me being a bunch of add on shyt like sound cards that i don't need

Might have to buy a 4th 4TB ssd drive to get me there :mjlol:
