Which is laughable since the cards performance is about the same
But you do save somewhere between 3 - 7 dollars on price if you go 1600 so their is that

Most games are optimized for single/dual core performance, and since Intel dies have higher clock rate they perform better in single core performance. This will change in a few years when zen 2 is released on next gen consoles and videogame makers optimize games for high threaded usage.
a ryzen 1600 and 1700 is still way more future proof than a 6900 or 7600 intel CPU
