So looking at forums around the 2 mobos that I see constantly mentioned are the ASRock X370 Taichi and the gigabyte gaming 3

Which are you guys recommendations?

Can't believe how expensive memory is now too
You really can't go wrong either way. I have the X370 Killer/SLI and have no complaints with it.

If I were picking between the two, I would probably go with the Taichi.

I can't really figure out what makes one better that the other

They seem to have the same features

And RGB connectors built into mobos now? wth

I regret not buying the Hue strip when Amazon had it on sale
The sound on the Gigabyte gaming 3 is good is hell. I can't even play on Ps4 anymore because of the sound changes :francis:

I pretty much have all the pieces in mind that I'm going to get and it looks like it mimics most builds on pcpartpicker.com for the Ryzen 1600

Except for the video card of course

I have a recent psu but now I'm thinking of getting one that's full modular just for the cleaner look

Go with the 1050 Ti. Jet.com with that 15% off promo if you must.

This is my GPU:

Because of its small size I falsely assumed it was a severely handicapped version of the 'real' card. But this card is just as good. I just can't fathom how they're able to put so much power into such a tiny thing. (my shyt has 4GB GDDR5 and it comes overclocked)

Yeah I have tested that card myself. It's a nice card
