I think brehs are missing the point. A major indicator is when casual, recreational spending decreases. Not just strippers and OnlyFans but...gambling, attending sports events, hobbies, vacations, etc. As someone who works in finance and had various meetings today (yes, Sunday) with bad economic news...start saving money. Stop "buying the dip" on crypto. Pay your bills.

This is anecdotal but I recruit for law firms and on the lower level a lot of former dancers are trying to get “real” jobs as receptionists, paralegals, and legal assistants.

But they are so used to that lifestyle they don’t realize that hopping on Zoom with purple ends on your hair, fake lashes, baby hairs, visible tattoos, etc means they will never get hired to work indoors.

Plus they dress like whores so the other women don’t want them in the office.

We need a training program for thots so they can re-enter the workplace. A lot of these women are really birds I totally understand why so many turn to sex work.

Lowkey feel like this economic crash is gonna be the real start of the crypto boom.

Right now crypto basically moves in sync with the tech stocks, and BTC even though it’s been crashing too, it’s been showing more strength than stock market, if this continues I think it starts it’s next boom earlier than the stock market and this one is gonna at least double the all time high. I’m thinking like maybe late 2020s though.

Lol this post hit me, cause you just described my ex.

Ex was a law school girl turned stripper, then completed law school, passed the bar and transitioned into law, she would get work from home jobs from these corporate law firms, where they would basically do contract data processing grunt work, but occasionally get pulled into the office for short period with the opportunity for a promotion.

I’m not gonna lie on my ex, she was good at her job as far as being able to perform it quick and efficiently but she was a bare minimum “do exactly how much I need to do to keep my job” type worker. She would basically get all her work done in 2-3 hours then smoke and watch Netflix all day (hence why we’re not together now).

But when she would get called to the office for those brief evaluations they would never retain her, and a lot of her friends and peers from law school were getting retained. I suspected it was her aesthetic, she had stopped dancing but still wanted to keep her bad bytch stripper aesthetic, even in the work place. From long colored hair with the baby hairs and long lashes, to long flashy nails, form fitting clothing and with designer high heels and designer bags (she would blow her entire paychecks on clothing, bags, and vacations, another reason had to break up).

I would tell her to maybe tone it down when she would go to the office, and she would always say “you want me to go to work looking dusty” lmao. But it’s funny cause her little sister that looks just like her but is a little slimmer understands this, and manages to keep gainful employment and take care of herself much better with much less credentials than my ex, I always think damn I picked the wrong sister lol.

Onlyfans definitely hurt the industry. Not to mention the high rent and cost of living in the area. Industry just seems to be dying down. People are still spending money either at the clubs, casinos, or restaurants. But the real money is on onlyfans. Lot of the girls seem to be on there, and not just Miami but all over. Browsing social media you constantly come across one that has a page. Even as a side hustle they could make decent money. Strip clubs connect you to people inside the club you're dancing at, but OF connects you to the entire world, or whichever ones allow access to the site. The entire country at least.

onlyfans got the game in a chokehold like 90's Death Row. it affected every other lane of "sex work" like stripping, camming, escorting, & porn
