Movie was a movie of a GENERATION

And the fact most of this was shot/set in daylight, we get to witness everything so clear and less hidden. It plays an affect on your mind.

Where as Terminator was all in evening and nightmarish, played more like a horror film.

70s-80s-90s really was the goat age for all art. Idgaf what anyone says

Movies. Comics. Music. Fashion (yes even that lol).

Wverything thats been popular the past 40 years spawned from 70s/80s/90s. All the properties popular today started being popular then. Dune. Marvel. Etc.

Non stop innovation. Technologically advanced enough to do anything, with the money to just throw at it to make it great. Now wverything is a dead stage and cgi. So sad.

So much crativity in 80s-90s lost. Noone can say art today is better at all with the internet. Stuff was so good you wanted to PAY

Drunk as hell watching this shyt right now at my mama's house and she keeps cutting into me about how I used to watch this shyt every single day as a kid. I absolutely loved the hell out of this movie as a kid, and even now, shyt aged well as hell. Til this day, everytime I see it on TV I gotta watch that shyt. Its just that damn good. From beginning to end with the action, the quotables from the cast, the fight with the robot, when he went to the OCP building, ect. The movie is an underrated classic and i'd put it on the sam level as Terminator 1 and the 1st Matrix. What do you nikkas think?

Robocop can be viewed by some as "hell yeah, clean up Detroit!" as opposed to a bizarre critique on extreme law enforcement. SST can be viewed as a simple sci-fi movie, as opposed to a critique on politics, punditry, and war. But that's what makes them work for me.

Both movies were critical satires that people got the wrong the message from.
