The criticism leveled at this game is valid. This game is almost nothing more than an interactive cut scene. Its basically playing through a movie. If you're ok with that (I am) then you'll be ok with this game. So far the actual gameplay portion has been pretty dry to me. The game has excessive cut scenes littered all through it. If you're walking from point A to B as you're traveling cut scenes are spliced into the trip even if it wouldn't have been necessary.

My play through took me 80 hours breh, but I didn't speed through the main campaign.

My point is the main campaign missions themselves. The game's length gets padded by side quests and fetch quests but If i had enough power to just go straight through the story missions only, the game wouldn't be that long. I have no way to measure it exactly but isn't there like 7-10 main story missions or something?

if you're OK with that, that's cool. but don't try to compare it with something like DA:I (yesterday it was Skyrim)

This game doesn't need to be defended. Either you like this style of game or you don't. If it doesn't appeal to you then you not liking it doesn't make it a bad game. If all you listen to is rap then do we really need to hear your critique of a country album?

The gameplay of this game is serviceable but the objective isn't for this to be a traditional video game its to be a cinematic playable movie. There's not many original ideas to be had here but again the point is for this to be an interactive movie you play through. It succeeds well at that objective.

Like I said the criticism is valid but was it leveled by someone that picked this up wanting an interactive movie and judging it on those merits or was it leveled by people who don't like interactive movies playing it? I don't think most reviewers judged this game for what it was rather what they expect a video game to be.

This is nothing but an elaborate excuse.

This is a GAME. So people will compare it to other GAMES and compared to other games its lacking in almost evey aspect other than graphics.

Even if we excuse everything else and call it a "movie game" its still lacking compared to other games which have much more to offer.

Sure you can say its an enjoyable experience, but yes it is objectively a bad GAME.

Not trying to say they are equal. I'm only on chapter 3 of The Order. I don't even know how long it will take to beat and it is extremely cut scene heavy.

Just making a joke that Dragon Ages 9 campaign missions prolly only add up to like 14 hours by comparing it to how short this game is.

The Orders been fun so far but gameplays nothing amazing. Not here trying to hype it up.

@Ciggavelli U noticed it?? Like the motion blur makes it look extra smooth or something.

Also, in the gameplay settings I'd recommend turning on "Camera Bias" and putting aim assist off.
