And you think outlawing all guns or even assault rifles will prevent someone from obtaining one to do something like this again, in America, friend? You dont seem to understand where you live. Its a nice gesture just as a cover your butt policy but its actual effectiveness sounds terrible for preventing crimes like this.
We wouldn't be the first country to enact a ban, and other countries have been successful... but you're right, where the consumer market falters the black market will kick in. I read an article that says there's a gun for every person in the united state and then some, so actually a gun ban would be ridiculous...

BUT STILL THO, something has to be done outside of strapping teachers or sending kids to prison schools. People just afraid to be creative. Imagine weapons having wireless nfc like security locks and entire facilities being able to deactivate all weapons on the premises? The technology is here.

I mean, nothings gonna change as long as guns are being made exactly as they are and the laws allow anybody to have as many as they want. You can change security measure and give everyone their own CCW, but that won't change the way they get used.

..

And i was just tossing that out there, but if we started today, making guns that cant be used for open mayhem.. within 50 or so years old 'dumb' guns would have exhausted their stay in the market. This last shooting wasn't with world war two rifles, just shyt made within the last ten years. Just change policies and wait till the old guns no longer exist or stop working, i think its simple in fact

... It's hard enough to get out the bank with those stupid double doors, you thinking that a bunch of screaming kids gonna make it easier?...
I stopped reading after this.

Are you telling me you cannot exit the double doors of a bank by simply pushing one door, taking a couple of steps and then pushing the other door and continue walking out?

What are you even doing in Higher Learning? Just get out now.

If a good guy with a gun isn't properly trained to handle a highly chaotic situation in a variety of settings, he is no good with said gun.

again i'm far from a gun nut but wtf would the purpose be of owning a gun for protection against your government if all they had to do was shut your gun off?

I'm going to keep asking you fools until I get an answer. Read closely:

If assault weapons are no different than hunting rifles, then why were assault weapons invented? Why do people want to own them? Why not just buy a hunting rifle and keep it moving...
