Just started playing Ryse since it was on sale at BB and got to the point where you can upgrade for the first time. Only thing is I'm not understanding the upgrade system at all. There's skill upgrades with sub-categories like Health, XP, Focus, etc., and there's the same options in the executions section along with co-op and world.
Any help with understanding what all that means?

The upgades become important as you progress in the game. Initially focus on using the health upgrade as you get some life back with each successful execution. After you get comfortable, focus on using the XP upgrade so you can quickly upgrade your health bar and unlock all the executions. Towards the end of the game, use primarily the focus upgrades as you'll need a full focus meter to win some of the harder battles.
