Nice! I’ve put a couple heavy drinkers onto it, and they all have come back to tell me that it’s their favorite stuff to drink now.
The cast strength is my favorite whiskey. I always keep one open and one on the shelf. Almost lost it when they stop making it/was in short supply for a while.

Some of my recent favorites has been:

Barrell Seagrass:

High West: A Midwinter Night's Dram

Deff something a bit different than your usual bourbons and ryes. The finish in port win barrels and brandy barrels adds a ton of flavor. They are blends, but please don't let that deter you. Seagrass is a ton of apricot flavor, and the midwinter night's dram gives a really nice dried peach finish to it. Can't lie the hype is real for these imo. Will be keeping each in the house in the collection.

Surprised this one isn't posted or brought up unless I missed it. Expensive as shyt but it's smooth. Love the taste of this bourbon.

Angel's Envy and Elijah Craig are great alternatives.

At my local liquor store, the holy trinity is priced as follows:

Blanton's -$150
Eagle Rare - $100
Buffalo Trace - $60

And they always have all 3

The crazy thing is another liquor store 10 mins from me sells Blanton's for only $70...but they're always sold out :mjcry:

Those are high, I just bought a bottle of BT for $25. I watched a video where the guy said the only people who pay those prices are spouses who buy them as a gift and don't know they are getting ripped off.

It's supply and demand...supply is low up North, demand is sky high

Some liquor stores are taxing bc the demand is high...I went to Myrtle Beach last month and it was sold out there too...doesn't matter if the prices are better if it's an allocated liquor that sells out quickly every single time
