the french seem to play their best game when they have lots of possession or the other side is technically challenged (sorry ukraine ca...brehs) and is easy to press.

spain is like the total opposite. france will be without the ball most of the time and pressing spain is almost suicidal imo.

maybe they can get one on a rare counter...otherwise it will have to be on pure individual skills...and as much as I like nasri thats not nearly enough. ribery the fraud will show up against spain

They need to go with two strikers and use their wingers. They have a lot of good wingers. I would go with Menez and Nasri and let them have a go but that won't happen.

Platini is bytching. I don't agree with the point he's making that if he allows goal line technology then he's gonna have to do the same for offsides. But aren't the two officials behind the goal there to make sure if a ball crossed the line or not and not for offsides?

That's what he says he's gonna have to do but those "goal judges" don't judge offsides either. I think he's being a hypocrite.
