yea so everything is open, all businesses are open but restaurants/bars must stop serving by 10pm.

i personally dont go out so i dont care but shyts been open. and i live right in vancouver proper
Yeh i Stay in Mt. Pleasant by City Hall

It's hella bars over here with Broadway, Cambie, and Main being close.

ima stay in the crib tho.

I’m in kits like 5 min walk to the beach so luckily I can get outside easily without having to go to bars/restaurants

mt pleasant was prob the goat neighbourhood prepandemic..I realized I’ve been there once since shyt started to go to trendy bucks to buy plants :russ:

and they still discriminate when you need them. I have a very tiny violin for cabbies and their suffering.

Many nights we went out as young men and walked back home or had to take the Blue Night bus because cabs wouldn't take us. :yeshrug:


Yep I remember those days at like 1am trying to get a taxi to go home because buses stopped running and dudes would just drive right by me.

or when you’d get a cab and dude would slow down when it’s amber and ish nah


I don’t feel any sympathy just like how once there was the milk man and once there was blockbuster adapt

taxis are a dying industry , whenever I see taxis I only see old people using em

Old building owner never raised rent but new owners been raising the rent as people move out and new tenants move in.

I pay less in rent in Vancouver than I did in Ottawa somehow

Can’t even get a basement apartment nowadays for that
