Ajax is where its at. Tons of blacks, 30 min drive from downtown, cheaper. Living in the city proper is fukking pointless.

if you work in the city not really
now working remotely its great. If working remotely becomes permanent you will see a mass exodus. Even if you have to come in once a week you can live in like kitchener/london/peterborough etc. and do that 1-2 hr drive once a week and enjoy a cheap azz mortgage/rent and a goo dlife

I’m really sick of this shyt and I’m a home owner and have a great paying job.

this shyt just takes a lot out of you.

it does man it does, you buy a house and the avg person is stuck with a mortgage in the high six figures-7 figures paying hand over fist, then property taxes, etc. not to mention the most expensive car insurance rates in possibly the whole world and on top of that the most expensive phone and internet plans in the world

I've been hearing rumors at work once we go back to our old department as covid dies down we can work remotely if its permanent or even 4 days a week my azz is out of this city

Not if you black and living around all cacs :francis: That’s what most of the suburbs in the GTA gets you unless you move to Ajax.

I really can’t see myself moving to the suburbs in my 30s and 40s. Maybe when I get in my 50s I might but still do just love living in the city. But I also don’t have kids and don’t need 3-4 bedrooms so maybe my position will change as life goes on and we shift in those post covid world.
