I did that for 6 years that rat race is so trash

It gets old breh you’ll get there
Naw, I been working downtown for over 8 years. I love it. Financial District is always popping. PATH for lunch is A1. So many options. Eaton Centre around the corner. All the summer festivals and markets. I wouldn't work anywhere else. And fukk local transit or wasting money on overpriced gas. GO Train all day.

I love my city. :ahh:

start voting and looking at conservatives with disgust in real life. they made ontario ass in record time.
I VOTED!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

& I SWEAR TO GOD, I DO NOT ASSOCIATE WITH MY "CONSERVATIVE" FRIENDS ANYMORE FUK THEM!!!!!
this is where "lower taxes" get us. All public funding cut. I know 17 year olds that have to defer their acceptances from university b/c they cant afford it. & osap recalculate their funds & they have $0 or --- even more insulting -- $7 in funds. This is legit ruining lives.

There could be so much accessible train options and it will cut commuting to work in record time. But car lobbyists will never let that happen. A good sign of a healthy society is even when rich people take the train but due to the stigma public transportation is utilized by poor people smdh. The population in toronto is exploding and there is not enough space.

& so the traffic in Toronto is a legit nightmare. Whats the point of taking car if taking the train /subway is much faster?

make it make sense.

make it make sense.

london 270 subway stations (Sixteen Underground stations are outside GreaterLondon, eight on the Metropolitan line and eight on the Central line.)
ny 472 subway stations
tokyo 179
paris 300

toronto 75 :scust:
toronto should have at least have another 50 stations
since 1978 only 12 stations have been added and the population of the gta has grow by like 3 million in that time

if toronto had the transit of any other "world class city
you'd be able to hop on a train and get to ajax in like 40 min or mississauga or newmarket etc.

even canada is a joke no high speed train
fastest via rail can go is 160km/h :scust:

eurostar goes at 320km/h
japan has trains that go at 400km/h

in 1854 trains were going at 131km/h

:umad:breh.

I love my city.:heh:

why?
its trash, overpriced, congested, overrated. A house that a husband and wife working at walmart for 7.00 a hour 20 years ago could purchase would now take a lawyer and accountant working at the big 4 salary to just qualify to pay like 6k a month for mortgage.

Travel and you'll wonder why you are living in this abyss, when i went to lisbon i was saying to myself why would any portugese leave this place.

Everybody that I know that has recently come to Toronto is ready to bounce. Was talking to this chick who came here from London, she works for KPMG as a management consultant making good money, I met up with her she's living in a hideous basement apartment paying 1,500 a month :gucci:

nigerian breh i worked with had a drive and a estate back up was paying 1,800 for a 1bdrm apartment at bathurst and eglinton. Dude got a job in saskatchewan and bounced. Now paying 1,100 a month for a 3 bdrm townhouse

I was born here. Why would I pack up and move my family to a new country for? Theres millions of people in the world that would give anything to live in a city like Toronto. And the middle class has been hit hard almost everywhere. The grass isnt always greener on the other side breh.

was raised here as well. I remember when you could buy a brand new condo for 125k, a house that was 300k :hubie:, gas that was 60 cents was considered :what:, i remember my parents buying their first house in scarborough for 165k and my dad was angry because it was to expensive, I remember moving to thornhill in hs and my parents buying a house for 310,000 and it was massive and my dad was :martin: i remember all of this and i just turned 34

now you can make 100k and your wife 100k and you still gotta rent :mjtf:
