Grew up right at birchmount and finch behind glendower. Played softball at wishing well park, hockey at stephen leacock arena, basketball sba moms would take us to kidstown in the summer and agincourt pool.

I remember snes and sega gensis games being over 100 dollars , i'd just be looking at the back of boxes, then i got my first job deliving for the scarb mirror at 11 that i was able to buy some games

Look covid showed most people have adapted to shopping online. I live right beside vaughan mills and monday to thursday its deader than a doorknob and the parking lot empty. Only fri evening and then sat and sun is it busy.

If you notice tons of malls we grew up at their parking lots are now being condos or they are being torn down for condos.

Lol yup, those were the days. Going to the library and getting some books, renting a movie from rogers video, get some burger palace. Had that little cemetery right outside price chopper . Mall is a a ghost town now even the mcdonalds and price chopper closed. When I was a kid that was the spot, I got my nes there, my sega genesis, all my games etc.

Lol 23 can get a big mac combo nowadays

for context he lives at home, but yeah vancouver rent is ridiculous. Calgary to vancouver on flair is under 200 round trip, so even if you have to do 8 times a month (twice a week) that's 1,600

you probably can't even find a room for 1,600 in vancouver
