Look covid showed most people have adapted to shopping online. I live right beside vaughan mills and monday to thursday its deader than a doorknob and the parking lot empty. Only fri evening and then sat and sun is it busy.

If you notice tons of malls we grew up at their parking lots are now being condos or they are being torn down for condos.

Bridlewood mall
malvern mall
shoppers world
jane and finch mall
woodside square

Lol yup, those were the days. Going to the library and getting some books, renting a movie from rogers video, get some burger palace. Had that little cemetery right outside price chopper . Mall is a a ghost town now even the mcdonalds and price chopper closed. When I was a kid that was the spot, I got my nes there, my sega genesis, all my games etc.

Lol 23 can get a big mac combo nowadays

In hs i lived off those mcdonald value meals :picard:

Monday - Big Xtra

Tuesday - Big Mac

Wednesday - McChicken

Thursday - Two Cheeseburgers

Friday - Filet O Fish

Saturday - Double Cheeseburger

Sunday - Quarter Pounder with Cheese

Damn bruh we had similar childhoods growing up in Scarborough. Can relate to literally everything you posted there. I remember that Roger’s Video was a Blockerbuster before and there was another Blockbuster at Victoria Park and Finch near the McDonald’s. When your parents would rent a movie and you’d get a game for SNES or Sega :banderas:

:mjlol: Bruh I think you nailed it exactly with those McDonald days. I lived off that shyt in HS - 2 dollar Big Macs and mcChickens :blessed:

Wow. Blast from the past man. What a different world we live in now. Really miss those days
