you might just be saving like 1-200 a month on rent but due to hving to drive into the city or not having proper transit it works out the same

I don't have any faith in any levels of our govt, we need a serious haul over our policies.

Someone once said "capitalism is socialism, but for the wealthy" and I see that now.

grocery price has a lot to do with corporate greed at the end of the day . Our government is incapable of putting a check on this

Fam you see how Hydro Ottawa was on strike. They're fighting because they want their wages to match inflation, just match my g.

Rumours are they gave up their dental for, i think a 3.something % increase every year for 4 years.

lol even there now is expensive, halifax avg rent for a 1bdrm is 2grand and 2bdrms like 2,300 and you get high taxes and a garbage salary

Wild. I'm from Ajax, but I was in Atlantic Canada for graduate school. I got lucky and found a decent apartment for the low (i.e., <$1000 for a 1bed). That will probably never happen again.
