People should really be outside protesting this. At my little cousin's school a teacher got indicted for sexual assaulting multiple children. Bro got suspended with pay and not a word, not a protest nothing at all.

On topic tho, the cheapest I found for a 1 bdrm in Ottawa is like 1,400 not including parking and utilities. I'm doing alright, but I couldn't imagine affording that alone if I was making $20/hr.

My old job would offer unlimited OT, but shut down any talk of competitive wages. Positive compliments about how I'm learning do fast, but wouldn't train me on more complex systems because apparently people get the training and go to jobs that offer wages they're supposed to get.

Govt workers finishing their 9-5 and then doing deliveries just to pay off the mortgage

No wonder everyone got anxiety and mental health issues

People working more than 10hours per day scust

Yeah for sure, shyt groceries are ridiculous too. Tell me why this guy I know has chickens, he says he has more eggs than what to do with them. Bro came into work with 5 cartons and is trying to sell a dozen for $6...I might as well go to food basics.

That's greedy, I may be wrong but if you have 20 chickens and you're not an egg farmer, your Chickens are giving you 60+ eggs/daily why wouldn't you sell 2 dozen for $5. Bro's making at least 80K and his wife is making good money too.

Bro got VX when no one wanted to buy his eggs.

I remember when you could g et a carton of eggs for 29 cents in the states. Last time I went it was 4.99 usd
Even here in canada i remember when eggs were usualyl always like 1.99

all those indian international students they don't even go to class they work multiple jobs keeping wages low

I remember looking for apartments with her as she was moving and brand new condos 1 bdrm near yorkdale mall were 1,250 to rent. Instead she settled on a basement apartment that had 2 full bedrooms and a full washroom for 900.

I also remember almost buying a brand new condo in vaughan for 250,000 but then changed my mind.

I also remember in 2018 looking for condos and it was so easy finding condos 300-350k with tiny interest rates

Now that same condo for 1,250 is now 2,500
that same basement apartment for 900 is now 2,000
that same brand new condo is starting from 600k
