Shot across 3 lanes of traffic and killed an innocent breh :mjcry: Then didn't even have the humanity to apologize to the family, knowing that he killed an innocent man.

"...Before handing down her sentence, Madam Justice Kelly Byrne asked Palmer if he had anything to say to the court. He declined..."

Palmer’s girlfriend, co-accused of the murder, who texted Palmer prior to the shooting to let him know that she’d seen Skeeno in the 7-11 at Weston Road and Jane Street, setting off the deadly chain of events, was found guilty of manslaughter. She will be sentenced in the next few months.

too bad only 25 years without parole should be life

unless policy changes are made at a federal level, it'll continue.

I don't understand the problem with this. It's still single payer (OHIP). Doctors and health teams are all private businesses right now - they aren't government employees. I genuinely don't understand what people are mad about or what they want.

An end to the creeping privatization of healthcare in Ontario, properly compensated nurses, Ford to release the $4 billion in COVID spending provided by the feds he’s disguised as a budget surplus, an expansion of respiratory ICUs

Single crehs with jobs
Y’all have exit plan or we staying here in our 40s :scust:
I got a lot of family on the East Coast. I would have moved there a while ago if it wasnt for the basically 9 months of hellacious winter.

Might have to bite that bullet one day though. Prices are still going up, but even then its way more affordable and owning a decent house isn't a pipe dream

This is what we are talking about. How is privatization creeping into Ontario healthcare?

The CBC article describes the Ford government allowing privately-run medical businesses to conduct more medical procedures outside of our publicly funded medical system. Effectively making two stream healthcare (healthcare for the rich and the not-so-rich) a greater reality in Ontario.
