i don't think so there never any foot patrol in these neighborhoods.
but i'm sure it's on purpose too, knowingly allow the place to be as unsafe as possible knowing a lot of innocent bystanders get shot in these 'hoods"

They only patrol the dt hoods like st jamestown moss park regent park alexandra park etc cause they want to gentrify those areas. Barely any police presence in places like driftwood or lawrence heights for example.
those innocent families in those neighborhoods are sitting ducks for random shootings

Truly tragic. I grew up in housing too and can say it’s 99% of people living there are hardworking families just trying to get by, many just scraping by.
It’s that 1% on the bullshyt that keeps the curses of generational violence going. Because of the bullshyt, everyone who lives in those neighborhoods are stigmatized as leeches of society and are completely forgotten and invisible until the government and developers want their spaces.
