I wouldn't vote Conservative. That's just an emotional reaction.

That's how we got Doug Ford. It was an emotional response to Liberals dropping the ball. But seeing how overworked hospitals were, even before covid, should show you it was the wrong choice.

If Conservatives are willing to spend reasonable, but not cut budgets and be aggressive on taxing rich, I'll consider it. Until then, I'll stand pat on Trudeau's fukkery.
what are the NDP saying? libs are woat, trudeau is a hoe and the conservatives haven't got a clue...

Baha. Cut taxes for the middle class. Excuse me? The middle class have been decimated during Trudeau's tenure. C'mon bruh.

Middle class is financially worse off today than they were 6 years ago. Job prospects are worse. Our economy is worse. Prospects for University educated graduates are worse than they were before. How can you say the middle class is better off? Trudeau has gone ape shyt on immigration bruh...That has impacted the middle class mightily.
Wait in what ways is the middle class worse? Also, the pandemic has had an effect on the economy but there will be a bounce-back once things return to normal. So im guessing you're voting for the Conservatives?

I will likely be voting Cons.....

Have you seen where home prices have gone under Trudeau? Debt levels. That directly impacts the middle class. Quality jobs....middle class. Our economy has become dependent on RE...other industries falling by the wayside.

Read this: https://www.oecd.org/canada/Middle-class-2019-Canada.pdf

It's a well known fact that the middle class is shrinking. It's also a fact that groups entering into the middle class are getting smaller.

People blame Harper and the Cons.....but home affordability has decreased at a much quicker rate under Trudeau's libs.

I'm more left, but Libs spend money with no plan. All that spending creates taxes. Who will be paying those taxes. Certainly not the poor. The shrinking middle class is a real problem exacerbated by the Libs The shrinking middle

You got people unable to buy homes and record immigration (which works against home ownership for Canadians) and you think Libs have done a good job? Ruined Ontario. Ruined Canada.

I have no problem voting Libs when they get their shyt together. I'm also refusing to vote for a party where the leader dressed up in black face multiple times. I'll reconsider voting for Cons if

Cons are more left leaning these days. They also won't win a majority IMO.

Thanks for the advice brehs. I have a wife and two kids so not trying to stay downtown where rent is super high, we are having to start over from scratch so an apartment or condo will be in the cards until we are able to find the right house we would want to move into. I will be renting out our house in Houston so that gives us about $20k Canadian per year to supplement our incomes.

Move as far away from the city as you can, and only visit after 10pm on weekends lol. It's not a fun place to live, only visit.

Rent is high but depending what you need condo? house?

Permanent residents can buy no issue, even at this time foreigners can buy but just have a 15percent tax levied on them.

GO sucks you'll get frustrated doing it 5 days a week.

Car insurance is also expensive im talking on average like 250 - 300 a month :picard:

You can live in areas like missisauga, oakville, scarborough, pickering, markham, vaughan which are just a little outside of toronto like half hour and pay less for housing.

Insurance is cheap outside of 416/905.

I was in Guelph paying $150 for 2 cars.

Real budgets? You say this while championing the Libs? Dog what are you talking about?

My point is, the middle class is shrinking because the middle class funds evertyhing. Cuts for the wealthy, funding for the poor. All off the backs of the middle class. Where do you think this country goes when there's no middle class?
Never championed anyone. In fact I don't know why you guys voted Harper out, but we are past that. All I'm saying is if Cons bring a plan that is filled with cuts, count me out. I'll stand pat.

And the middle class has been in decline since the 80's. Manufacturing jobs are what built the middle and no politician can bring those jobs back.

what are the NDP saying? libs are woat, trudeau is a hoe and the conservatives haven't got a clue...
Jagmeet is only the leader to bring attention to the NDP. Without him they are irrelevant.

I’m not looking for a “fun” place to live those years are long gone. A place with no fuccery and no worry of cops trying to gun me down in the fkn street is where I need to be. Houston is one of the most boring cities in the states so Toronto sounds right at my speed.
