Btw. Natalie portman reallllly struggles doing light hearted comedy. She was easily the worst part of this flick. I know shes a good actress but she sucked in this. Big time.


I didng hate the flick. Id still say its better than thor 1; mostly because bale did a great villain for the first time in a while for marvel flicks. Best since thanos for sure. Hemsworth did a good job too.

Taka definitely went overboard. Everything hes done since ragnorak seems like hes feeling himself. Even his new show he has is the same way. His pics of him in sunglasses layin around on set… i wont say what im thinkin but im thinkin it.

anyone overwhelmingly hating on this one is letting the rest of the boring ass Phase 4 cloud their judgement. This movie was a much better time than Multiverse of Madness. they're bombarding us with a bunch of average shyt on Disney+ and movies like Widow and Eternals, so when moviesl ike this come out and aren't amazing, it's a huge letdown.

What am I saying, all the Thor 4 writers were probably high on DHT when this came together lol..

For the non-Harlem parts:
They had a lesbian couple
Korg had a baby with another Rock Dad
Val flirted with Zeus' concubines
Thor being stripped naked for too long and the male concubines gawking
Val admitting she eats carpet...

But it wasn't too bad but definitely noticeable...

MoM was also mid as fukk, but I’d still take Raimi’s direction and usage of horror elements over whatever Taika tried here. They really gotta hammer down on these scripts. Definitely an unintentional pun.

not looking to argue or anything, but i don't think a single person has gottem more rope than Sam Raimi has for stuff like his "horror elements." maybe Chloe Zhao with her "outdoor shots" b/c some brown ass landscapes with water in the far distance were soooo incredible looking.

Well Raimi is considered a pioneer of the genre, so I think the rope is justified.

I see they’re going with the same director for “the next” Thor. Maybe they need to switch it up. Infinity War Thor to me was the best version of the character. Would love to see a more serious side of him but still fun

Yeah, like there is a clear middle ground to be achieved here that they are just missing. We don’t need Shakespearean thor and we don’t need Men in Tights

His characterization in Infinity war is perfect. He still has that superior air about himself but thats what makes it funny, that he doesn’t really realize how conceited he is. I even like Whedons version of Thor more than this.
