Saw it this evening. It was big time trash, and I loved Ragnarok. This whole movie felt weird to me from the start. The pacing, the editing. It all felt wrong. I haven’t been this disappointed with the MCU in a while. It would be different if I came in with no expectations. I certainly didn’t see a spoof of a Thor movie coming.

I won’t spoil it but that last fight scene with Jane had me ready to laugh my ass off, while walking out of this movie early. Writing was terrible. This ain’t it. Marvel is looking funny in the light right now.

needed more Bale! the scene in the Shadow Realm where hes holding them demanding Stormbreaker was great, one of the better MCU scenes IMO

the comedy was heavy, it didnt bother me, some of it took away from the movie and should have been pulled tho, like whatever that creature was at the pathehon of the Gods, that was too silly. overall, the comedic tone didnt bother me though. Crowe was great Zeus.

there were some plot hole that I could see being annoying, like Jane just popping back up could have been fleshed out better.

I liked the ending, it tied the theme of Love together well

Needed more Bale however - like give us some of that God butchering and this would have been A++

I loved it actually, just got out. I’m kinda shocked at the lukewarm reaction. I get some of the criticism but whatever you could call holes in the movie just didn’t bother me. I liked it better than Spider Man and Dr Strange. Really solid.
Agreed although I wouldn't put it above MoM. Not all the humor hit but the majority of it was fine. Bale & Hemsworth were definitely the standouts, as it should be.

Unless it’s a deleted scene, they could’ve explained
that Jane caught cancer from exposure to the reality gem in The Dark World.

i think in the movie when darcy was talking to jane it was somewhat hinted at that jane cancer was hereditary since her mom died from it. Although the reality gem scenario would have been much better.
