But I'm biased because Thor my favorite Marvel hero.

Taika made Thor a goofy yes...but it works IMO he's a corny superhero 1st, God 2nd. Speaking of God.
Taika has made Thor one of the most if not the most powerful hero ive seen on screen in any superhero movie.
Dude was in literal god mode the whole flick as he should be...it's Thor.

Great Action, Unforgettable visuals, kinda cringe humor, but also a decent love story.

I said it from the moment I even heard there was even a Thor 4 that is would be a skip and was just Marvel putting something out just so they could have something out for the summer. Like what is even the reason for this movie? Like it's not even a Thor/Guardians of The Galaxy crossover story that Endgame set it up to be.

People pretend that Ragnarok wasn't good due to it primarily being a Hulk/Thor crossover story. Without that element it would have been trash.



I don't know anybody who was clamoring for a potential Thor 4 to bring back Natalie Portman as Lady Thor


Without Hulk and Loki this movie is basically this

+ Natalie Portman.

I just grabbed a ticket for 9pm CST showing, let me just get this shyt out the way tonight

Honestly, I think I did it more so because some popcorn sounded good rather than being hyped about the movie

I like Chris Hemsworth's MCU version of Thor. He's always jovial to hide his pain. That works. However I hate that the movies take the comedic approach to everything around him. And in doing so, there's also not enough action.

I felt like this movie is just there. They really need to start adapting comic arcs. I hate Korg. Jane is okay, Valkyrie is cool...New Asgard is okay, as well. Bale was great, but underutilized

I liked it.

There’s a lot of forced humor in this, but it did feel like there was a genuine Thor story somewhere underneath the rubble. It just needed more time in the oven.

I’m still wondering why Valkyrie was even in the film here though. Gorr needed more time to flesh his character out.
