I hate to say I told you so, when I saw the trailer I already knew what was up. Marvel has strayed far from who Thor is the character is hardly recognisable if not for the aesthetic aspect you couldn’t even call him Thor. Hemsworth seems to love doing comedies and with Taika added in its comedy overdrive. I enjoyed Ragnarock but if you read the comics you know it was meant to be a tragic epic and culmination of the character of Thor and then leading to his evolution into King Thor. No Odin Force, no Rune King Thor despite there being a platform to tell these stories.:francis:

Their last 3 films. 2 in the 70s and one rotten (their first even though they should have way more) Bubble ready to burst
This is your prayer every Marvel release.
Wow, RT scores are everything now? :mjlol:
And you can't use the score as some sort of indicator now and at the same time invalidate previous scores. They either are all accurate or none of them are.

Im not the biggest Infinity War fan (its really good, but I dont share the its a top 3 MCU film opinion like most)

However, that was the best version of Thor.

I'm saying it's odd it took like 26 movies for them to have a poorly reviewed one when everyone knows they've had clunkers. The luster has come off either way. Oversaturation. Besides strange they haven't had crazy box office either. Pandemic aside.

i've literally been on the website rottentomatoes.com like 5 times in my life, and i don't use it as a barometer, but every time i look at the outrage, it seems like the scores are pretty in line with the final product. Eternals absolutely deserves its low score. if anything i'd say most of the MCU movies were getting overrated by RT for years, and i loved most of those movies.

let's be real, almost every fukkin movie on earth sits between 4 and 8. "bad" movies are mostly still mildly entertaining and land at about a 5, and there are very few "great" movies that deserve more than an 8. i'd say the average movie is basically a 6.5/10 and that's fine. almost everything in the world, 2022, is mediocre.

Yeah, it's a credit to the studio a phenomenal streak. But still there are movies that I think are absolute clunkers (The Last Jedi) that got over 90% positive reviews. Doesn't mean I'm right and they are wrong the score is the consensus of reviewers, I just didn't agree with the vast majority on that movie. So the MCU having clunkers in your opinion doesn't mean they deserved a lower RT score.
And NWH broke box office records and Marvel Studios was mainly responsible on the creative side despite only seeing 25% of the box office. And Dr. Strange 2 would be the highest grossing movie this year if not for the Maverick phenomenon which is a one off and will be hard to duplicate. The luster is still there. lol
