This has to be the first doctor show in history where the doctors don't have a "winning" record. As soon as they mentioned that the new doctor was unqualified, I was thinking "how many patients is he going to kill before they get rid of him?" Even Thackery and Edwards lose more patients than they save, and they're the best in the world in the show's universe.

does gallenger actually care about the health and condition of thack or does he just want him back to not have to be a subordinate to algie?

After the show, they're showing a clip of how they made the eye surgery scene. Apparently they build a model of Algernon's head to stick the needles into. The effects were so good, I had no idea it wasn't really him.

She was talking about how you can balance the usage of heroin and cocaine at the same time to have the negative effects counteract against each other to create the perfect high. Which means Thack is either gonna try it, or simply realized how the chemical components of the two drugs affect the human body for his research. Most likely the first though.

Also, Thackery's been in the hospital for at least 6 months, and when he went in Heroin was a brand new experimental treatment that even doctors had never heard of yet. I think when he first said "Heroin?" he was surprised that it had already escaped from the hospital and become a street drug. That's why he was thinking "this is high powered medical grade stuff, if you don't use it under a doctor's supervision you'll end up dead.'
